Industrial Development Authority (IDA) has announced the launch of 414 fully equipped industrial units for immediate delivery across 12 industrial complexes in 11 governorates, as part of the Ministry of Industry’s strategy to localise manufacturing and strengthen domestic supply chains.
The offering will be available for online application via the Egypt Digital Industrial Platform from 5 to 19 April 2026, according to Nahed Youssef, Chairperson of the IDA.
The units are being offered under both ownership and leasing schemes, in line with the terms and conditions outlined in the official offering brochure.
They are distributed across a number of key industrial zones, including Bayad Al Arab, West Girga, Hou, Arab Al Awamer, Al Matahra, Merghem 2, Al Baghdadi, Metal and Concrete Complex, Al Genena, Al Shobak, Sadat, and El Mahalla El Kubra.
Youssef said the units range in size from 48 sqm to 792 sqm, offering flexible options for small investors and entrepreneurs seeking ready-to-operate industrial spaces with minimal start-up requirements.
The offering spans a wide range of industrial sectors, including food processing, engineering industries, chemicals, plastics, textiles, building materials, metal industries, pharmaceuticals, and leather manufacturing, reflecting the state’s commitment to diversifying its industrial base.
She added that all units are fully serviced and built to high technical and engineering standards, enabling investors to commence operations immediately without incurring additional setup costs.
The initiative also includes a comprehensive package of financial and procedural incentives, such as simplified licensing processes—similar to previous offerings—as well as access to financing programmes provided by the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise Development Agency to support the purchase of machinery, equipment, and production lines.
In addition, investors will benefit from technical and marketing support aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and expanding market reach.
All application procedures will be conducted entirely online through the digital platform, ensuring transparency and equal access for all applicants.
Youssef noted that supporting small-scale industries remains a core pillar of the authority’s strategy to deepen local manufacturing, promote innovation, and increase value-added production.
She added that the industrial complexes are designed to achieve more balanced industrial development across regions, while fostering integration between small and large manufacturers, ultimately strengthening domestic supply chains and reducing reliance on imports.
